The Artisanal Distillery
Elaborated with care, the rums we offer are complex and authentic. They are appreciated by connoisseurs and are enjoyable to amateurs alike.
The sugar cane that goes into their making is manually harvested from the first rays of dawn. It is immediately sent to our mill where it will be slowly and gently pressed to extract the juice. It is exclusively this precious first-crush juice, commonly called “fangourin” in Mauritius, which is used to elaborate our rums.
This juice will undergo fermentation to become what we name the “wine”. It will then be distilled in a traditional copper alembic. We only retain the heart of distillation to create our rums.
For the lengthening, we use our very own spring water, sourced from our tea plantation domain of Bois Chéri.
It is the unique association of the care we put into our sugar cane cultivation, the precision we invest into our distillation process and the low mineral composition of our spring water which instill into our rums their unmatched authenticity and originality.
They embody the distinctive signature of our land and are its exquisite expression.
White Agricultural Rum 1819 - 50º
Saint Aubin’s White Agricultural Rum is authentic, intense and potent, reflecting the land it is born from.
It delivers an intense aroma of floral and vanilla notes playing along in harmony.

Vanilla Rum 1819 - 40º
The Vanilla Rum comes from the blissful union of rum and the vanilla grown on the Plantation.
This subtle combination gives a tasty and generous rum with sugary notes reminiscent of the sweetness of living of olden days.Have it straight on ice or mix for cocktails.
Coffee Rum 1819 - 40º
Our Coffee Rum is born from the perfect alchemy between the complexity of the rum and the intense flavour of the Mauritian coffee exclusively grown in the region of Chamarel.
This wonderful blending between character and charisma gives birth to a rum with a potent taste. It is ideal as a liqueur or an engaging aperitif, served on the rocks.
Spiced Rum 1819 - 40º
Unravelling exotic aromas of woody cinnamon and orange peel, the Spiced Rum is a zesty and suave blend.
Brimming with potent and voluptuous distinction, it takes us back in time to the luxurious era of the Spice Route.
Historical Collection – "Old Grand Port Battle" - 40º
Bottled specially to commemorate the bicentenary of the famous naval battle of Old Grand Port, this collector’s aged rum is part of a limited edition of 1819 units. Its subtle and ardent character brings it close to a cognac. It is perfectly suited for a leisurely enjoyment after a wholesome meal and – why not? – embraced by the aromatic whiffs of a great cigar.
